I just got burnout paradise and when I tried to run it, I get an alert saying my gpu doesn't support shader 3.0: So I was scrolling the internet and hit a stump, I don't know what type of graphics card will work with my current one. My card at the moment is, Intel® 945G, I was thinking of getting something liek geForce 9800 GT (but I don't know if it will just be a waste of money or will it actually be compatible with my computer, if anyone has an answer I would be please to know, at any case I can always get my cousin to mount it since he works in the computer field.I just noticed I posted this in the wrong thread. Hello Haven-Hunter, First I checked the m inimum system requirements of game Burnout Paradise and I list them below. OS: Windows XP/Vista Processor: Pentium 4 @ 2.8 GHz (3.2 GHz for Vista) Memory: 1 GB (1.5 GB for Vista) Hard Drive: 4 GB Free Video Memory: 128 MB (Shader Model 3.0+) Sound Card: DirectX Compatible DirectX: 9.0c or 10 Keyboard & Mouse DVD Rom Drive And refered to the specification of NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT, it fully supports Microsoft DirectX10 (Shader Model 4.0 support) and the Video Memory is 512 MB. I think that it should work well with the game and don’t forget the install the right driver for the device.
Windows Vista 32-bit Driver for AMD Radeon HD 2400 XT board. ATI 128MB PCI-Express x16 (DVI/VGA/TV-out) Radeon X300 SE. Intel 82945G Express Chipset Family, v.6., A03. The nVIDIA Quadro FX 4800 1.5 GB/580 512MB/3800 1GB/1800 768MB Graphics Driver and is supported on.
You might obtain the driver. Thanks for your time and understanding! Um, I don't know. How can I check? And if this helps. I am running the eMachines version of the machine you have with E1200 1.6 GHz.
Core 2 Duo CPU, 2GB RAM, I've had 2.5 GB RAM in it and it saw all of it, I'm guessing I could probably go up to a max of 4GB RAM not sure. I am running EVGA - GeForce GT 610 2GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 Graphics Card. Yes your motherboard has 1xPCIe x16 slot and 1xPCIe x1 slot on it, the PCIe x16 is what you'll use for a new PCIe graphics card. I run Diablo 3 on it it's certainly no speed demon but it plays fine.
